Terms and Conditions

The supply of all goods and services by King’s Designs & Printers are subject to terms and conditions as follows.

1. Orders

1.1 All orders are to be written, either faxed to 086 608 5908 or emailed to sales@kingsprinters.co.za accompanied by sufficient information, including but not limited to an order number,contact person, valid e-mail address and delivery address.

1.2 All quotations will remain valid for a period of 7 days only, from the date of the quotation.

1.3 Work will only commence or materials will only be ordered, once quote with layout design and terms & conditions have been accepted as well as Payment Terms as per the quotation have been met by Customer.

1.4 It is the sole responsibility of the Customer to determine that the products or services ordered by it are suitable for the purposes of intended use.


2. Pricing

2.1 King’s Designs & Printers is a non-registered vendor, so we don’t charge VAT.

2.2 Prices are subjected to change without prior notice.


3. Payment

    3.1 All orders are subject to a 50% deposit before the commencement of the order.

3.2 Goods will only be released once your order has been fully paid for and a proof of payment has been sent to King’s Designs & Printers and cleared in our Bank Account. King’s Designs & Printers cannot be responsible for missed deadlines if payment has not been received in time.

3.3 Payment must be made by bank transfer or direct deposit into the Kings Designs and Printers (Pty) Ltd bank account. We only accept cash for order up to R1000.

3.4 Goods remain the property of King’s Designs & Printers unless paid in full.


4. Delivery

    4.1 Delivery times quoted are estimates and are not binding on King’s Designs & Printers until the job is           in production.

4.2 All orders within Pretoria & Johannesburg area in excess of R2000 will be delivered free of charge and the total weight of parcel is no more than 10kg. All orders outside this catchment area will be subject to normal courier fees.

4.3 Delivery Prices will be quoted on an individual job basis.

4.4 Damaged or missing products need to be advised in writing within 48 hours of receiving the goods.

4.5 Goods delivered in damaged packaging or the external box shows proof of being tampered with, needs to be indicated on the delivery slip when signing for the delivery of the goods. This must be forwarded to King’s Designs & Printers within 48 hours and if possible, a picture to be forwarded of the damaged packaging.

4.6 If items have to be re-delivered because they were refused, undeliverable or unclaimed due to incorrect address details provided by the client, the client will be billed and held liable for any additional delivery costs.


5. Cancellation Policy

    5.1 Written order (faxed or by email) constitute a binding contract and are legally enforceable.

5.2 Once an order – to the value of R5000 or more - has been emailed or faxed, any cancellations prior to collection will be subject to a 15% handling and administration fee and R150 per layout if a layout was created. No cancellations of order will be accepted on any branded items.

5.3 Any order is subject to cancellation by King’s Designs & Printers due to Acts beyond their control including but not limited to: inability to secure materials, supplies or power, riots strikes, lockouts, labour disputes, civil disturbance, war, fire.

6. Returns Policy

6.1 Collected orders can only be returned within 48 hours and will be subject to a 20% handling fee.

6.2 No branded good will be accepted for returns for any reason.

6.3 All returns must be accompanied by the original documentation. Goods will not be refundable if the item is damaged in any way.

6.4 Under no circumstances may goods be returned to our physical address without prior written arrangement or invoice.


7. Samples

7.1 Where possible we will supply samples of required items. Samples must be paid for in full and return within 3 days in its original condition and packaging with a tax invoice for a full refund.

7.2 Damage to any part of samples or packaging will result in samples not being accepted for return.

7.3 Products priced at less than R50 are not eligible for a refund.

7.4 King’s Designs & Printers does not accept sample returns of USB memory sticks.


8. Accounts

8.1 Unfortunately we are not in a position to offer credit facilities. All orders are subject to a 50% deposit before the commencement of the order with the balance due on collection or delivery.

 9. Branding


9.1 Layouts or sample, specimens, sketches, photographs or any representation whether partial or total of the finished product will be submitted to the Customer for Approval. Acceptance of such proofs by the Customer or any employee of the Customer will bind the Customer and King’s Designs & Printers will not be liable for any errors contained in the approved copy.

9.2 Any alterations or additions may not be effected unless agreed to by both parties, reduced to writing.

9.3 King’s Designs & printers cannot take responsibility for non-delivery of orders if layout approval is not received.

9.4 Branding will only commence once 50% deposit for stock and branding has been received & bank cleared and artwork has been approved.

9.5 Lead time for branding varies between 3 – 7 days after artwork has been approved in the correct format and 50% deposit has been made.

9.6 Lead times vary depending on volumes, complexity of branding required and current orders in the system.

9.7 The type of branding is limited by the item and options available for the item chosen. Current branding guidelines are available on our website.

9.8 Delivery dates are quoted from the day after artwork approval and receipt of full payment - whichever is later.

9.9 Amendments made to proofs will result in a delay to delivery date. Should you require changes, we will issue a new layout for final proofing before production commences.

9.10 No branded items will be accepted for return unless defective.
